Dear Friends of Gefen and Tamar,
We had a fabulous MWJDS Science Fair yesterday evening. Fourth Graders broke into groups to do 3 experiments. Avia, Eliana S. and Hadass did "The Music Test," wherein they set out to see if people's heart rates are affected by listening to scary music. Meg and Elliana C. tested various materials to determine which made the best insulation for a solar oven. And Bryce, Sam and Jonathan experimented with green m&ms and green skittles to see if the dye used to color them is the same for the candies.

Unlike in years past, the work on science fair projects was done entirely in school this year. It was a different format and I believe it was a success. Ask your children what they think.
